Ellen Ratner's balanced life

The very cool and smart Fox News contributor Ellen Ratner (seen on "The Long and Short of It" on Fox and Friends Weekend) has an equally cool and smart life partner who has written a book about their experiences in the thick of it during Hurricane Katrina, as Page Six reports today:

WHY is Bruce Ratner, the real estate developer and owner of the Nets, hosting a party in SoHo Monday for "Through the Eye of the Storm," a book by Cholene Espinoza about her experiences helping families in Mississippi rebuild after Hurricane Katrina? It turns out Espinoza is the "life partner" of Bruce's sister, Ellen Ratner. Cholene, a former U2 pilot, is one of the few women admitted to the Air Force Academy and has served as an embedded journalist in Iraq. She's donating all the revenue from her book to build a community education center to serve the Katrina survivors in Harrison County on the Gulf Coast.

My point? More proof that Fox News really does present all the sides of an issue--that Ellen Ratner can be who is in public shows as much as anything that when it comes to "fair and balanced," Fox News walks the walk.
