The buzz is, well, abuzz with speculation that departing Court TV CEO Henry Schleiff has his eye on the prize--that is, the prize that is CNN prez Jon Klein's job, or the prize that is the top position at CNN/HLN(via TVNewser.) This will come as no surprise to readers of The Cable Game, who way back in August 2005 exclusively scooped that Schleiff, a Dick Parsons favorite, had been taking meetings about taking over CNN/HLN, which, to say the very least, would put Klein in a state of disequilibrium.
All I'm saying is, I think I can hear the bloodied-yet-unbowed Klein-survivor Aaron Brown's monotonous yet strangely endearing chuckle from here...
