Just wanted to point out that Sony Online Entertainment recently held this scholarship contest where they solicited design concepts from girls, with the winner to receive a $10,000 scholarship at The Art Institute of California and a paid SOE internship. I'd heard the winner was announced, but I just realized that she is none other than Julia Brasil, longtime faithful SVGL supporter who also awesomely helped staff my Worlds in Motion Summit at GDC this year back in February.
I'd like to take this moment to claim credit for Julia's victory because of her reading this site. In all sincerity, rock on, Lady.
