Hi guys, I'm at E3! Which means, uh, I think I'm in Santa Monica, possibly my name is Leigh Alexander and I'm not really sure which end is up anymore. But hey, I'm having tons of fun.
Last night, we had a big party for Kotaku readers and industry folks, which was super cool. I got to meet a few readers who were SVGL fans, and a couple of people I know through their comments as long-long-time supporters of this site, so that was absolutely amazing.
This morning my colleagues liveblogged Microsoft's press conference, and I helped out by breaking out the big stories (and also helping run our prize giveaway). The liveblogging tool we're using is really cool -- it essentially lets us post a realtime chat right on the front page, so there's no need for readers (or us) to refresh or resubmit continually.
I also did my first on-camera interview, which should be going up on the site sometime today. I don't have much more time to write, obviously, but keep checking Kotaku if you want to see what I'm working on.
