Bret Baier, Adult -- So Says The Huffington Post!

The Huffington Post's Jason Linkins reports something quite remarkable just now. He reports that Fox's Bret Baier did the best job of covering the unfortunate--but small potatoes--incident on Capitol Hill concerning Gen. David Petraeus on Tuesday morning:
I'll credit Fox News's Bret Baier, whose report during yesterday six o'clock hour was the only one I managed to find that actually attempted to treat the hearing as if something substantive was interrupted by Petraeus's fainting spell.
Yup, there it is, The Huffington Post conceding that Bret runs the most adult news show on cable news. I'll post the screen grab, just in case the resident lefty enforcers at Huffpo decide to airbrush this quote out of existsence
Meanwhile, Linkins unsparing in his assessment of CNN: As he wrote:
The most asinine coverage, by a country mile, was by CNN, in their Chamber of Situations. There, CNN medical correspondent indulged in a segment of insane speculation about all of the myriad health problems that Petraeus might have, from the reasonable (heatstroke) to the ridiculous (SILENT HEART DISEASE OMGZ!). That was followed by a "closer look at what happens when public figures pass out." Seriously. They put David Petraeus' fainting spell alongside Marie Osmond's similar episode on "Dancing With The Stars" and probed it for the deep meaning in Our American Lives.
And I'll screen-grab that, too, just for posterity.
The Cable Gamer has become something of a fan of Linkins, who runs an active Twitter operation. Yes, he works at Huffpo, but he seems more motivated by snark and attitude, as opposed to ideology. (I hope a wet kiss from TCG doesn't hurt you, Jason, if it does, I'll be happy to denounce you!)
