Like Chris Whitcomb, Robertson is another under-appreciated figure in cable news. He just has the kind of grave intelligence combined with a slightly agitated energy that screams "I have no fear, I just want the story--let me wade in." Talking to Miles O'Brien on CNN's American Morning from a street corner in London, only a short distance away from where the police had shot the would-be bomber, Robertson reported that witnesses were being held at a veterinary clinic behind police lines near where the man's body lay. It's a small detail, but shows that Robertson is hustling for information not visible to everybody else. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him and his reporting.
