CNN's Wolf Blitzer will host a new show for the network, "The Situation Room," that will conveniently allow no conservative viewpoints a la "Inside Politics" and "Crossfire":
The new show, which "replaces 'Capitol Gang' and 'Crossfire' as well as Blitzer's 5 p.m. ET shows, will focus on the breaking and developing stories that seem to pop between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET just before the network nightly evening newscasts and cable news primetime shows.
"'The Situation Room' is emblematic of where we're taking CNN," said Jon Klein, president of CNN-US."
