Of the cable news channels, Fox News drew the largest audience on the day of the terrorist attacks in London. According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News attracted an estimated average of 1.66 million viewers, compared with CNN's 1.09 million and MSNBC's 427,000. The same pecking order applied to prime time: Fox News drew an estimated 2.43 million, while CNN and MSNBC averaged 1.33 million and 413,000, respectively. Of the three channels' programs on Thursday, Fox's "O'Reilly Factor" was the most watched, with an audience of 3.01 million.
