So President Bush was caught on tape using the s-word to describe Hezbollah's actions (here's the video of CNN thoughtfully spelling it out for all of us slow learners. )Was that really necessary? If Ed Henry thinks CNN's being all authentic and cool by letting us all hear the bad words, I've got news--this is not news. Fifteen years ago in his classic book "Parliament of Whores: A Lone Humorist Attempts to Explain the Entire U.S. Government," humorist P.J. O'Rourke defined the White House press corps as a bunch of people who stand around "waiting for the President to say 'f***'..." Not an unfair definition on O'Rourke's part, seeing as how it's still at least partially true at CNN.
