Great news for all you insomniacs out there who've run out of Ambien and have no idea how you're going to get to sleep tonight: all you have to do is check out Media Matters' latest incredibly tiresome, stultifying, yawn-inducing, no there-there attack on Fox News and you'll be SO out!
Here's the deal: MM is shrieking that Fox News' Carl Cameron claimed that during the Connecticut Democratic Senate primary election, Sen. Joseph Lieberman "has done very well" in "some of the more blue-collar cities, New Haven [and] Bridgeport." In fact, Lieberman lost in New Haven and won narrowly in Bridgeport.
Uh, excuse me, but if Lieberman won Bridgeport, then he did well enough there, didn't he?
But while we're on the subject of David Brock's hate machine in media watchdog clothing, if you'd like to know a little more about what Media Matters is REALLY all about, check out this book by David Horowitz--The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party. Soros, you see, bankrolls Media Matters. Then Media Matters lies about being funded by Soros. Then they lie about lying about it. Have fun!
