On "Countdown" just now, Keith Olbermann just ripped into Bill O'Reilly and Rupert Murdoch. He called O'Reilly the "Worser Person in the World," and Murdoch the "Worst Person in the World." It was completely familiar in its tone--but it wasn't supposed to happen. Remember "The Truce"?
Olbermann was obviously reacting to the New York Times story by Brian Stelter that "reported" that News Corp. chief Murdoch and GE CEO Jeff Immelt has reached some sort of entente to stop the inter-network attacks. Who knows what Murdoch and Immelt said to each other, but we do know that Olbermann just proved that any GE/MSNBC policy doesn't apply to him.
UPDATE: TV Newser has all the details, plus transcript, plus video, of course.
