Politico's Michael Calderone tracks the fierce reaction to Glenn Beck's special on totalitarianism.
Beck made the argument made in Friedrich Hayek's 1944 classic, The Road to Serfdom, that big government can lead to bigger government, and down that road is... serfdom, and worse.
Calderone cites a long list of liberals who denounce Beck for making the connection between liberalism, leftism, and totalitarianism, but Calderone also quotes conservatives, too--in other words, a fair-and-balanced story.
