John Watson, a sharp-minded Cable Gamer from Phoenix, has put together a list of ten tough questions for Arianna Huffington and The Huffington Post. With John's kind permission, I am reprinting them here.
Much like MSNBC, Arianna Huffington is obsessed with Sarah Palin and Fox News. Arianna Huffington is a yellow journalist, a liar, a hypocrite and an A-list elitist and documented phony. I know Howard Kurtz doesn't have the balls to ask Huffington any tough questions so I thought I'd throw out a few:
1) Arianna, your web site loses money, always has lost money. Will you release the names of your "investors" and the amounts they've contributed?
2) Arianna, your writers and contributors are forbidden from posting any stories critical of you on the web site and are also not allowed to criticize you in public or private. Why do you forbid and censor any and all Arianna Huffington criticism?
3) Doctored quotes, edited quotes, fake headlines, lies, and unsigned stories regularly appear on your web site. Why?
4) Joe Biden was elected Vice President, yet you've dedicated over a thousand stories to Sarah Palin in the past year. Ten times the Biden related stories posted on your web site. You ran for governor and lost, Sarah Palin ran for governor and won. Your so-called marriage ended in a tragic, embarrassing public scandal while Ms. Palin's marriage is thriving. You have completely flip-flopped on every major issue while Ms. Palin has been ideologically consistent her entire adult life. Your web site loses millions and you're forced to survive off of oil money from a rich ex-husband. Ms. Palin is personally successful with millions in personal earnings in the last year along with a long term multi-million dollar contract with most successful cable news network history. She's booked a year in advance with over 100k guaranteed for each personal appearance. You're middle aged, addicted to botox and let's just say not HD friendly, while Ms. Palin is in her prime, a stunning beauty and she photographs like a Sports Illustrated swim suit model.
Ms. Huffington, are you jealous, obsessed or both? As a follow-up have you ever considered seeing a mental health professional regarding your well known personal and professional envy of Ms. Palin?
5) Arianna, why did you direct your staff to edit the video of your Howard Kurtz appearance that deletes the questions that revealed your double standard and hypocrisy?
6) Arianna, did you ask Glenn Beck to write for your web site and if so, why have you failed to publicly disclose this relevant, pertinent detail?
7) Arianna, have you promised the Democrats funding your web site anonymity?
8) Arianna, in the past you posted several articles on your web site alleging V.P. Cheney was a draft dodger because of five deferments. Current V.P. Biden obtained five deferments while also playing full contact high school and college football. V.P. Biden also stole Neil Kinnock's identity and is a known plagiarist. I could go on about Biden related incidents (hair plugs, capped teeth, family arrest history, etc.) but can you explain the moratorium on stories regarding sitting Vice-Presidents?
9) Do you retract any of your criticism of the late Tim Russert? Or do you stand by the long list of documented attacks you published about Mr. Russert prior to his death?
10) Do you or does anyone at your web site fact check the articles published on your site? If no, why not? If yes, how do all the mistakes and lies survive the vetting?
If anyone reading this has access to Arianna Huffington or who themselves want to take a shot at any of these questions many of us are curious.
I know Huffington's staff (Stein, Grim, Linkins, etc.) are afraid to publicly criticize Arianna and would be fired so I understand but there must be someone out there with the guts to stand up to the botox poisoned, democrat funded, hypocritical, lying, MSNBC suck up Huffington?
All provocative questions! Perhaps some journalists--real journalists--were dig into these questions, and seek out some real answers. As John says, we are all curious.
