John Tabin Owes Sean Hannity An Apology. So Does The American Spectator.

Written By mista sense on Saturday, March 20, 2010 | 11:33 AM

John Tabin of The American Spectator wrote some inflammatory, even defamatory things yesterday about Sean Hannity, which got Twittered all over the place. And they were dead wrong, as Tabin and his bosses now admit.

And yet while the Spectator has retracted those words, deeming them inaccurate, they are still on the site, just waiting to be misunderstood or taken out of context. (See screen grabs above.)

It's not good journalism to print inaccurate things and then to amplify on the inaccuracy, and then to leave them up when you know they are wrong. That's the worst journalism, in fact.

So Tabin owes Hannity an apology, and so does The Spectator. And then both should do everything they can to expunge this journalistic turd from the record, all across cyberspace.
