"Rachel Maddow might be doing too well."

"Rachel Maddow might be doing too well." That's the cynical--but probably quite shrewd--headline opinion of Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel column TV columnist Tom Jicha, who writes today that it's only a matter of time before Keith Olbermann becomes maniacally jealous of Rachel Maddow, his onetime protege turned prime time better-ratings-getter.
As Jicha explains: "She has blown by him in the demographic cable news operations sell, adults 25-54." That's a big "ouch" for Olby.
To those who don't quite see it from Olbermann's green-eyed envy perspective--h/t William Shakespeare's Othello--Jicha elaborates that if it seems strange for one MSNBC-er to jealous of another, then, "You are not familiar with Olbermann’s Washington Monument size ego. It will not allow him to be second fiddle on a network he regards as all about him."
And he continues, "Since MSNBC treats Olbermann as if he is the network, Maddow had better beware. At best, she’s liable to become the nightly 'Worst Person in the World.'”
