I published a post entitled "The Decline and Fall of the CNN Empire, by Jon Klein," back in October. I am publishing that same picture, again, to accompany this Mediaite post from The Krak, which suggests that the chronic ratings decline seems to have finally gotten the attention of Time-Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes.
I would have thought that T-W shareholders would have demanded action long ago, but now, finally, it would seem that the T-W suits are going to do something about CNN.
Exactly what they will do, of course, is an open question, but by now it's clear that they will do something. And that's got to be bad news for CNN chief Jon Klein.
So I am reworking the illustration, to show that Bewkes will likely be writing the epilogue to Klein's career at CNN.
