Megyn Kelly caused a ripple with her hard look at the New Black Panther Party case, but she is no ideologue, reciting rote talking points. Instead, she is interesting and unpredictable. The Cable Gamer doesn't think, for example, that
Tom Tancredo expected to walk into a buzzsaw on her show, even after his loose talk about impeaching
Barack Obama, or his assertion that Obama was more dangerous than Al Qaeda.
But that's what happened: Megyn gave it to him, but good. And even
The Huffington Post noticed, as did
TalkingPointsMemo. No doubt those liberal outfits will see her comments as some sort of aberration, but if they watched her show with more open eyes, they would see that she is, in fact, open-minded. Direct and no-nonsense in her to-the-point style, but completely independent of any pre-set ideology.
