"CNN's Morning Show Has Worst Quarter Ever"

It looks as if Jon Klein got himself fired from CNN just in time--just before a new spate of bad ratings reports.  Mediaite's Steve Krakauer has all the numbers, dwelling on the failure of "American Morning," starring the perfectly pleasant, albeit dull, John Roberts and the pretty but backstabby Kiran Chetry. 

The Cable Gamer hates to say, "I told you so" ... Wait! What am I saying?  I love to say "I told you so"!'

And that's just what TCG did when Chetry, egged on by her agent, John "The Ferrit" Ferriter, jumped ship from Fox  years ago, after her effort to push out "Fox & Friends" star Gretchen Carlson failed so badly.  As Fox's top lawyer, Dianne Brandi wrote three years ago to Ferriter,

"You have treated Fox News with such arrogant disregard that we do not desire to do any further business with you ... You and your client's unprofessional demand that we include a clause in her agreement which would have been detrimental to other Fox talent, is simply not the way we do business. We had hoped that Ms. Chetry would have a bright future with the Fox News Channel, however this negotiation has now become more trouble than it is worth."
