Leave it to the liberals at the Huffington Post--in this case, M.J. Rosenberg, screen-grabbed above--to try to defend Sanchez on grounds that he was born a poor Hispanic. As Rosenberg put it, a part of Sanchez will always be a "hurt Latino immigrant child who has always felt . . .that white America looked down on him." Well boo hoo.
But Sanchez is no victim. He has a long history of thuggery, going back to a 1990 incident in which he was driving a car that killed a pedestrian--so this latest and terminal incident doesn't come as a complete surprise. Invaluably, the Media Research Center has been chronicling Sanchez's moronicisms for a long time. But it will now be interesting to see what new details about Sanchez's oafishness leak out of CNN in the wake of his departure.
