"Bill Keller Takes On Arianna’s Aggregation: Kitten Videos With A ‘Left-Wing Soundtrack’" It's fun to watch The New York Times' Bill Keller and AOL Huffpo's Arianna Huffington pounding away at each other--the harder the better, because they both deserve to lose. Keller has tried to rebuild the Times' crusading liberal reputation by attacking Fox, even as he lays off his own workers. And Arianna, of course, self-declared champion of the dispossessed, has made tens of millions off of the free labor of Huffpo bloggers, and is now selling herself to AOL, which, in the meantime, is busy laying off workers.
Here's Mediaite's Alex Alvarez on the latest installment of their spat, in which Keller accuses Arianna of "aggregating" not just his newspaper, but his words to her. That is, using words Keller said off stage as her own words, onstage. No surprise there--Arianna has been accused of plagiarism all through her career.
