Advertising Age and Romenesko are all over this huge conflict of interest--or, shall we say, huge unreported interest. Joe Scarborough had Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz on the air for seven puffy minutes yesterday, all the while never mentioning that Starbucks had paid MSNBC $10 million for promotion.
Imagine if Fox had done this.
So Comcast missed another bullet. But once again, The Cable Gamer asks: When is Comcast going to step in and bring reform to MSNBC, which is increasingly a cesspool of hate-filled ideologues and ethically challenged anchors.
