Who is Joseph P. Lindsley? And what is the Student Free Press Association?

So The Cable Gamer went clicking around, and found this site, the Student Free Press Association, which shows that Joseph P. Lindsley is listed as Vice Chairman of the SFPA.  

The SFPA seems to be a clearinghouse for right-of-center student blogs, and, indeed, the Chairman of the SFPA is one John J. Miller, a reasonably well known conservative writer.   The entire staff consists of four people, including Miller and and Lindsley.  In other words, it's a dinky little startup non-profit.

And the SFPA site is obviously not kept up: As of Monday afternoon, the bio of "vice chairman" Lindsley still lists him as "editor-in-chief of the Putnam County Courier and the Putnam County News & Recorder."  Not any more, boyo.

In other words, SFPA is a smalltime organization, with a smalltime site, probably run by a part-timer--who doesn't have much time.    Interesting to see how the SFPA will do as an organization, now that its Vice Chairman has outed himself as a disgruntled and mean-spirited crazy, who took his grievances to a snarky left-wing website, Gawker, to put the knife into a conservative hero, Roger Ailes.

It's hard to see how this can help SFPA with fundraising in the conservative world--unless and until SFPA cuts Lindsley loose.   If it can.
