Why Americans Hate Politics: Update. Revolving Door at Comcast/NBCU.

Two decades ago, Washington Post reporter E.J. Dionne wrote an influential book entitled, Why American Hate Politics.   True then, even truer now. 

Now we see another example: A Federal Communications Commission commissioner, Meredith Attwell Baker, is leaving the FCC to join Comcast as--what else?--a lobbyst.

No doubt Comcast is high-fiving itself over such a "get."  And no doubt Baker will help Comcast ply the DC corridors of power, but this decision looks terrible to ordinary people.
