Neil Cavuto, the human jalapeno lollipop

Neil Cavuto consistently shows more humanity, humor and tough love in a single sentence than most anchors can summon in an entire broadcast. (Plus he has military analyst Lt. Col.Bill Cowan, one of the smartest men in the country, as a frequent guest on his show, but that's another post.) He manages to singe and be utterly endearing at the same time. He's totally like one of those lollipops with a hot pepper inside.
I know he calls himself "just an Irish-Italian kid from working-class roots" but he's more Churchillian that most of the people that honorific gets ascribed to. He had a great one liner I've been turning over in my mind, from some comments he made about about the G-8 summit:
"We should save the world. But first, we should make sure we're saving the folks who need to be saved in this world. There's only one thing worse than writing a blank check: Doing it with a blank brain as well."
See? Churchillian.
