If only the gossip and entertainment report on "American Morning" were only 90 seconds. It's like a cocktail party with no alcohol, and filled with people who have less chemistry than a meeting of Sexaholics Anonymous. This morning's discussion of Jennifer Aniston's Vanity Fair cover and interview was filled with the kind of forced, awkward high-pitched giggles that make you fake appendicitis five minutes into a blind date. Soledad O'Brien looked impatient, like she couldn't wait for the segment to be over so she could stop losing brain cells.
Besides Soledad, the only good thing about "90 Second Pop" is comedian Andy Borowitz, and even he isn't allowed to be very funny. Change the channel and bookmark Andy's website instead.
