The MSM after Bush: All hat, no cattle

Looking at the CNN-sibling Time magazine cover story on the Bush Doctrine and what the magazine calls "the end of cowboy diplomacy," it's jarringly obvious what writers Mike Allen and Romesh Ratnesar are really commenting on. The MSM has begun the mourning process over the approaching end of the Bush administration, which they love to hate, but more than that, they're mourning what will also end with Bush's presidency. Since 2000, the media elite have been enjoying wielding the last acceptable sexual and sociocultural prejudice--the one against rich alpha male Southerners--against President Bush. Now that the end of his last term is in sight, it looks like it's the MSM that's going to be all hat and no cattle now. The media elite might even have to start criticizing politicians on their policies, not their race, class or creed. What a concept.
