NYC building explosion coverage on FNC: the non-hysteria zone

The coverage of the NYC building explosion on Fox News Live this morning can be summed up in three much-appreciated words: calm, cool, and collected. Todd Connor and Gretchen Carlson were admirably non-hysterical and incredibly even while reporting live on a situation that could have engendered the wildest kind of panic and speculation, in light of world events. Even when Gretchen conveyed her personal anger at the selfishness of an apparent suicide attempt that could have taken so many lives, pointing out that she and her two small children live in the area, her voice didn't raise a decibel and her tone did not deviate even a smidge. Total professionalism.
