John Stossel To Fox

John Stossel has always been an outlier at ABC News. There are plenty of talented reporters at ABC--TCG revered David Brinkley, and always admires the courage of Jake Tapper, for example, but ABC, like the rest of the MSM, is reliably and predictably liberal. For example, I happened to catch Charlie Gibson intro-ing a report on Teddy Kennedy's posthumous memoir with the words "straight talk from the late senator." And then ABC proceeded to credulously take Kennedy's account of Chappaquiddick at uncritical face value.
But to its credit, ABC still found room for Stossel. Stossel is a rarity: a genuine "movement" libertarian, committed to advancing freedom, and the free market. That has always made him an interesting and compelling figure, and now he is coming to Fox.
