The Cable Gamer has taken note of Mediaite's Steve Krakauer in the past, but some of his recent work merits special attention--and acclamation.
For example, on Friday, he published "Five Reasons Why Fox News Dominated Ratings in 2009," which was perfectly cogent in its analysis. The reasons: Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Barack Obama, tea parties, and stronger weekends, mostly due to Mike Huckabee.
OK, that's good stuff, worth a read. But then, as I wade through the comments, I see that Steve K. was actually willing to wade in there with the regular folks, to clarify a point. You can't beat that for service to readers.
I believe that this is a picture of Steve, above, which I have altered somewhat. Don't worry, Steve, or Steve's significant other--I'm harmless, just a fan!
