The Cable Gamer knew that Bill Hemmer was from Cincinnati, and she knew that he was a football fan, but did not know how hardcore he was, both as a Bengals buff. As Hemmer told Bengals Gab:
Football is my great escape. I truly love the game, and yes being from Cincinnati for me being a Bengals fan was a fait accompli.
But in addition, Hemmer, a former sportscaster, is a recognized expert on football. Recently Maxim magazine called upon him to identify The 5 Most Shameful Moments in the 2009 NFL Season.
