So it's war between Google and Apple, as they fight phones, and now, TV.
The Cable Gamer loves both Google and Apple, and so wishes them both well, even as they duke it out--hopefully, the outcome of the competition will be better products from both.
But in the meantime, TCG was intrigued to see this item in her favorite newspaper, the WSJ, about Apple scrambling to line up TV content for the iPad.
Kinda makes you think: Exactly what is it that the cable networks do? If we have cool shows (like Megyn Kelly's "America Live," pictured above) and we have cool platforms (like the iPad, also pictured above), then why do we need cable carriers?
