Keith Olbermann goes to Al Gore: L+L=L. Liberal plus liberal equals loser.

Two great Cable Gamers, The New York Times' Bill Carter and Brian Stelter, report that Keith Olbermann is going to end up at Al Gore's Current TV.  The Cable Gamer has barely ever watched Current, but knows enough to know that it has been a complete misfire since its inception: That is, it was supposed to be about audience participation, putting on their own videos, which might seem like a good idea--until you remember YouTube does the exact same thing.  Now Current is simply putting on re-runs of old PBS shows.

So in that sense, Current has nowhere to go but up.   So why not offer Olbermann an equity stake in the company, as the Times notes?  Why not make Olby a full participant in Current's comeback--because then maybe there will be one?   The deal, the Times notes, is due to be announced today, Tuesday.

Here's why: Olbermann, a notorious hothead, does not work and play well with others.   The idea of him being part of a team is laughable.  So perhaps we should amend our formula to read, L+L=LL.  That is, liberal + liberal = laughable loser.
