Where have you gone, Maria Bartiromo?

Benzinga notes the continued decline of CNBC's ratings.  As writer Scott Rubin points out, perhaps the biggest loser is Maria Bartiromo, the aging "money honey" who seems to never have lived down her scandalous relationship with Todd Thomson.   That flap was back in 2007, as covered by TCG and others--but the damage lingers.  

Evidently people don't trust, and won't trust, a reporter who gets too close to her sources.
