ABC kills Kristin Davis "20 20 segment--how come? Eliot Spitzer, is there anything that you want to tell us--or don't want to tell us? Was ABC, like CNN, "Spitzered"?

So Kristin Davis, the hooker-madam who provided prostitutes to disgraced-governor-turned-CNN-host Eliot Spitzer, among others, now says that she provided hookers for Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the even-more-disgraced ex-head of the IMF.   And Davis told all that to ABC News' Chris Cuomo in an interview last week, all to be aired on "20 20."  And yet according to the New York Daily News, and confirmed by ABC, that interview was spiked.  The Davis allegations were teased on "Good Morning America" on Friday, and then never aired that night on "20 20." 

So what happened on Friday, during the day, to make the interview go from a "go" to a "no-go"?   An ABC spox says the interview was cut for "time," which seems strange, if not outright false.   The Cable Gamer wonders, instead, if maybe Spitzer had anything to do with it.   TCG has noted in the past that Spitzer was able to "Spitzer" CNN, by keeping it from running references to his own scandalous past on its air, but maybe now Spitzer's "Spitzering" power extends to ABC.   The Spitzer family is, after all, very rich and very powerful.
