So The Cable Gamer was clicking around, and found
this item from a website called The Frisky (screengrabbed above) which picked up on reports in the British press--including the Times of London and the Daily Mail--that
Eliot Spitzer, the CNN host, and
Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the disgraced ex-head of the International Monetary Fund, both patronized prostitutes supplied by
Kristin Davis. And since then,
other publications seem to have picked up the story.
Everything about Spitzer is out in the open, of course, since 2008, which caused him to resign as governor of New York--although CNN didn't seem to mind when it hired him as a co-host two years later. Indeed, when Spitzer got in a fight with then-co-host
Kathleen Parker, CNN suits sided with Spitzer, and Parker was gone.
Meanwhile, there is obviously plenty we have yet to learn about "DSK," as he is called. But one thing we now know, or at least can strongly suspect, is that Spitzer and DSK have a lot in common. So maybe Strauss-Kahn, too, can be a CNN host!
And oh, by the way, when does
Ashley Dupre,
the hooker whom Spitzer knew so well, get to be on CNN? Seems only fair!
