Remember those Shepard Fairey drawings--the usual word is "iconic"--that said, ominously, "Obey"? They were all very hip and ironic street art, which got Fairey arrested many times, but ultimately led to him becoming the unofficial court artist for the Obama campaign. No doubt Fairey thought he was scoring points against the dreaded Republicans, but now it seems that Obama & Co. have big designs on manufacturing consent, as reported here by TVNewser.
