It's common practice in PR not to directly address your adversaries, especially when they are "smaller" than you. Many of us have seen small, no name companies taking shots at the big players in their field. If they get the big player to respond, it's gold. But this is the White House we're talking about - not a Fortune 500 (or smaller) company. What kind of message does this send? Is it that Fox News is the one critic that is too big to ignore?
