Keith Olbermann Will Never See Him Coming

Written By mista sense on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 | 6:37 PM

Needless to say, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann took time tonight to beat up Brit Hume, the former Fox anchor, who still appears frequently on Fox. Hume said, of Tiger Woods, that things would go better for him--much better--if Tiger would seek forgiveness through the redemptive power of Christianity.

What Hume said is a statement that probably 75 percent of Americans agree with. And most of the rest of the 25 percent would merely be conflicted--they wouldn't disagree outright.

But Olbermann doesn't care about that any of them--all he needs, for his show to work, is less than 1 percent of the population. And for that less-than-one-percent, Olbermann delivers the bacon--he pounded on Hume, and even found a useful-idiot minister--complete with his own show on Air America--to agree with him. As, of course, all of Olbermann's guests do.

So Olbermann had his fun. But God is real, Keith.

Something to keep in mind when you're alone at night. And the night of the hereafter is long, indeed.

As for Brit Hume, he was brave in attesting to his faith. And that's one more reason why his many fans--even those not interested in politics--love him so much. We pray for you, Brit, and for your late son Sandy and all the rest of your family.

And we pray for you, Tiger.

And yes, Keith, we even pray for you. Not that we think it will do any good.
