"CNN Finishes Last In Demo" -- that's the headline from
Robert Seidman's post at TV by the Numbers. CNN may be a little bit cheered by the news that it's
running ahead of Fox on the web--at least for now--but of course, CNN, like Fox, is mostly a TV channel. That's where the revenue is, that's where the real competition is.
As an aside, it doesn't look like
Rick Sanchez has done CNN any good. No surprise there, except maybe to
Jon Klein. The Cable Gamer guesses that CNN is waiting for the teamup of Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker to save the day. And already, the MSM are rushing to the rescue of the couple; as

The Boston Globe editorial page is telling critics to "back off."
Will wonders never cease. Once upon a time, the media saw itself as a pillar of rectitude. Now they are simply flacks for partisan allies.
