David Zurawik, another stand-up guy, for telling the truth about Fox News' leadership on the Quran story--make that non-story.

The Cable Gamer praised David Zurawik of the Baltimore Sun yesteday, but here's a longer and more detailed story from the Z-Man on the Terry Jones Quran-burning foolishness.

Zurawik starts by demolishing the New York Times' lazily--or dishonestly--reported story that CNN had reached the same decision as Fox; that is, not to cover Jones's act.  But in reality, as both Zurawik and Howard Kurtz--and TVNewser--reported, Fox led the way.   Evidently, the Times couldn't bring itself to credit Fox with anything. 

But as Zurawik says, "Give Fox News full credit."   And, TCG might add, sole credit.
